EUROPE IN ACCOUNTING HARMONY

I am delighted to announce the publication of the Book entitled "The European Harmonization of National Accounting Rules" (Springer) in which Corinne Bessieux-Ollier, Elisabeth Walliser and I have produced the chapter dedicated to France.

This book relates the historical grounds of the diverse accounting systems in Europe and discusses their current approaches to the Directive 2013/34/EU.

It is a must have pedagogical tool for all accounting teachers.

We thank Alberto Incollingo and Andrea Lionzo for addressing a gap in the accounting literature and for piloting the project will all the patience that editorship requires. It is also the occasion to pay tribute to the late Jean-Paul Gauzes, former president of the EFRAG and writer of the foreword.
